Farnham has a great showing at the 2008 Guildford Open

Farnham Swimmers braved the bug that is circulating round the schools and seems that every other person has at present.Adenais Vachon produced an outstanding swim in the 400 Metre freestyle to take Gold in a time of 4 minutes 22 seconds, which is a new county record

She managed to follow this up with 4 other gold medal swims.

Also producing Gold on 4 out of 4 swims was Jack Peters, the highlight also being his 400 Metre freestyle swim in a time of 4 minutes 42 seconds.

Natalie Jones then added double Gold and a Silver medal to the haul with excellent swims in her freestyle races.

Zahra Bourak then stepped up to get a great Gold and Silver medal in 2 of her races.

Additions to the medal total were: Connor Price: 2 x Silver, 1 x Bronze Josh Wreford: 2 x Bronze Joe Peters: 2 x Silver Lucy Peters: 1 x Bronze Aaron Beaumont: 1 x Bronze

Also swimming were Rhys Davies, Amie Jones, Pippa Littlejohn, Summer Pepper and Jess Wreford with all of the swims being really strong races considering the obvious flu bug that some were suffering from and definitely not 100% fighting fit - well done for your efforts!
