Inter-Counties - Farnham Swimmer steps up to perform |
| This weekend - 18/19th Oct was the inter-counties which is held at Sheffield in the National Swimming Centre there.
40 Counties compete against each other which results in an amazing atmosphere and an array of colours with all the different uniforms for each county. Adenais Vachon from Farnham SC was selected to represent Surrey and swim in the 100 Freesyle event swimming a national qualifying time of 58.93 seconds finishing 6th overall. She swam another NQT in the 50 free.
Surrey ended up finishing 6th overall which is the highest they have ever achieved. A great weekend and experience but it does not stop there - Adenais is off to Enfield next weekend for the English Swimming Schools Championship - another PB on its way?? |
